Changes Made to Novel Romance Guest Book!!

So...here I am on vacation with my husband and four sons in Williamsburg, VA. Although not attached to my laptop as I normally am, I have been periodically checking in on my website, Guest Book etc. Well today I was stopped dead in my tracks.

If you recently signed the Guest Book on my website you may have received a scam email from an unscrupulous person. Unfortunately, some scamming dirt bag trolled my website and developed a scam email to send out to everyone. HUGE Thanks to Kim who got it and posted it to the page so I found out about it.

I am, needless to say, FURIOUS at whoever did this. I have adjusted the Guest Book at http://novelromance.net so that your emails are seen only by me. If you eneterd Feb. contest, not to worry, it is still going strong. I apologize if you got the scammers email: I am pasting it below so you can keep an eye out. I know that most people see emails like the one below, and click delete...but it is still infuriating none the less.
Best,Sara

HERE'S WHAT THE BIG SCAMMER SENT PEOPLE:

Contest on Novel Romance Website

Just a friendly reminder that the contest is running on my website. It's easy to enter. Just go to the site, read the excerpt and sign the guest book with a comment. At the end of this month I will pick one name and that person will win a FREE autographed copy of "The Amoveo Legacy". If you're asking yourself..."How can she sign an ebook?" Easy easy lemon squeezie. I'll be burning it onto CD's and signing the CD. Pop it in your computer and you're good to go. I'm hoping, of course, that it will sell very well and quickly go to print. So come on by my website and check it out...and don't forget to tell your friends :)

A Writer's Moon

This evening, as I emerged from my office after a very long day, my breath was stolen at the sight of the moon. I can't recall the last time I saw a moon quite so beautiful. I stood in the parking lot and one phrase popped in my mind...."A writer's moon". It was larger than usual, intensely luminous with a thick misty red ring emanating from it. I call it a writer's moon because as I stood there, my mind was flooded with all sorts of story ideas. Wolves, lovers, dark, longing, vampires, lust, blood, lost, found,romance.....love. I hope I can always recall the beauty of that moon.

The Difference Between the Men and the Boys

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, many ladies out there may be wondering what their sweethearts will come up with for the most romantic day of the year. Will it be yet another box of chocolates with the obligatory card? Romantic gift giving separates the men from the boys.

Boy Gift: Box of Russell Stovers wrapped in the clear cellophane
Man Gift: Godivas placed on your pillow with a little note

Boy Gift: Gas station carnations with a shelf life of 1 day (likely dyed a color not found in nature)
Man Gift: A single red rose hand delivered to your door

Boy Gift: A gift card to Old Navy/GAP
Man Gift: Doing all the laundry and putting it away

Boy Gift: Dinner out (probably local pub with sports on in the background)
Man Gift: He makes you dinner...AND cleans up

Boy Gift: Trial membership to the gym (so not only is he telling you to lose weight he doesn't think you'll stick with it...nice)
Man Gift: Gift certificate to the spa for a full day of beauty (if you have children it also means he takes the kids)

Boy Gift: Something sexy and lacy for you to wear for him. (Probably resembles dental floss has an eye patch and will give you a severe wedgie)
Man Gift: A bubble bath with wine, candles and music....by yourself. (He waits patiently for you to finish..never once asking.."Are you done yet.")

Last but not least, when you emerge from the bedroom in your carefully chosen outfit (Which by the way probably was result of trying on 87 different combinations) he will of course have something to say. The BOY says..."Oh, you're wearing that?" The MAN smiles broadly and says...."You look beautiful."

Happy Valentine's Day Ladies. I hope you've all got a great MAN. I know I do.
